Permacolor Inc. was founded by Rob Modisette in 1989.

As a building contractor, Rob realized powder coating offered a far superior method of corrosion protection then did liquid coating.  Although, frequently, the surface preparation and application of the powder coat was lacking and did not meet required expectations. 

Rob joined NACE International in 1991 and started applying powder coating to proven and accepted industry standards for liquid paints; the performance improvements were remarkable. 

In 2002, Jim Graham, a NACE Certified Coating Inspector (#218) and active board member, joined the Permacolor Team– thus bringing an additional 30 plus years of corrosion control and coatings experience to Permacolor, Inc. making it one of the most knowledgable providers of high quality and durable powder coatings in the industry.

The Permacolor Team is constantly striving to improve and promote the Powder Coating Industry by staying in-tune with the industry and developing systems and process to meet customer needs.

Year after year, Permacolor, Inc. consistently strives to exceed industry standards for corrosion coating applications.
